Workshops
All my workshops are suitable for the following:
Women seeking a deeper understanding of perimenopause or menopause and its impact on their bodies and lives.
Those who crave practical strategies and techniques to navigate the challenges of this transition.
Those interested in connecting with a supportive community of women on a similar path.
The first half of each workshop involves information sharing, discussion, brainstorming, and introducing some practical techniques.
We then move into a yoga class with poses designed with the theme of the class in mind.
Each workshop is 3 hours and ends with a 90-minute yoga class and sound meditation.
The class is suitable for all levels —including those new to Yoga.
You will have a workbook containing all the information from the class that you can take with you. You are encouraged to write notes in it and highlight anything that resonates.
The workshops have specific themes - and you are encouraged to find one that feels right for you.
If you have any further questions, there is an FAQ section at the end of the page, or feel free to contact me directly.

This is an introductory class for people who are at the beginning of their journey and want to understand more generally the impact of perimenopause and menopause—what to expect and what to consider for their emotional and physical health.
As elevated stress levels are a common experience for many women at this time, we will include some techniques around that - and this will be the focus of the 90-minute class and sound meditation.
If you are already aware of how your body reacts to hormonal changes and have researched menopause more broadly, then picking one of the other workshops (that matches your experiences) may be more appropriate.
-
The shifts in hormones, for many of us, can trigger intense feelings of frustration and anger.
While recognising that those feelings aren’t “wrong” is important, they can sometimes be overwhelming.
This workshop looks at what’s going on in the body, our relationship with these feelings and some techniques to manage them - when we feel it is appropriate to do so.
-
Some of the most common feelings we have during this time are anxiety, fatigue and overwhelm.
This workshop looks at the physiological changes that make us more susceptible and the bigger picture —the life pressures that combine, for many women, and result in a perfect storm.
We look at how we might be able to support ourselves not just through our practice but also off the mat.
-
Hot flushes (or flashes) are one of the big symptoms we associate with our hormonal shifts.
This workshop looks at what causes these sudden intense moments of heat in the body and offers some practical techniques we can use as they happen.
GENERAL FAQ
-
You will need some comfortable, loose clothing for when we move and socks, and a warm top for when we slow down into the relaxation part of the class.
You could bring a pen and a notebook to jot things down should you need to.
A bottle of water is a good idea.
If you have a yoga mat which you prefer to use, bring that along if you like but there will be mats and all the props needed will be provided.

I have a 200-hour qualification as a Yoga Teacher, and I’m also trained in Yin Yoga. Petra Coveney specifically trained me in Menopause Yoga.
All my Yoga qualifications are accredited by the Yoga Alliance.
I am not a doctor or medical practitioner.

My classes and workshops are for people of all or no genders who may be experiencing the hormonal transition of menopause.
All attendees agree to a collective commitment to privacy at the start of every session.
We aim to make the space safe for everyone.
Please let me know if you have any concerns about safety ahead of or during a session.

I work with crystal sound bowls and smaller instruments to create sounds that can be relaxing in the savasana.
The vibrations and tones used in sound meditation can lead to a deep state of relaxation, similar to deep meditation. This can help the body to rest and rejuvenate, aiding in better sleep and overall relaxation.

At the moment, I’m just starting to run workshops in North London. If you run a studio or have space locally or elsewhere in London, get in touch. I’m also happy to run workshops just outside London.
If you are looking for a Yoga Teacher near you who can help, check out the Menopause Yoga directory here.
-
I am fully insured to teach yoga, ensuring a safe and supported experience for all my students.
-
I’m open to working with teams. My recommendation in the first instance is looking at a voucher for individuals to attend - rather than running for teams in-house. Get in touch if you would like to discuss.
-
There is a form on booking for you to add any minor injuries or health concerns.
Otherwise, get in touch to discuss ahead of booking.
